AWSMメディカルチームでサポート 救護レポート
2025年7月13日（日）、格闘技イベント「BreakingDown16」が大阪・おおきにアリーナ舞洲にて開催されました。
AWSM医師・看護師のメディカルチームで、この白熱した大会の救護を担当しました。
初の大阪開催ということもあり、現地スタッフを含めた新たなチーム編成で臨みましたが、事前の情報共有や当日の柔軟な連携により、スムーズな現場対応が実現しました。
1分間という短いラウンドで繰り広げられるスピード感ある攻防により、さまざまな外傷が発生しましたが、チーム内での緊密な連携によって迅速かつ適切な処置を行うことができました。一体感をもって、安全な大会運営を支えることができたと思います。

騒がしい会場でも聞き取りやすい音声ガイダンス、英語⇔日本語のバイリンガル対応、迅速に装着できるクイックステップ電極など、現場で本当に「使える」機能が充実しており、私たちの活動を強力に支えてくれました。

経口補水液「OS-1」を現場に常備。選手やスタッフの脱水予防・暑熱対策に活用し、安心・安全な環境づくりに大きく貢献しました。

【AWSM Medical Support at BreakingDown16 in Osaka｜Event Report】
On July 13, 2025, the combat sports event BreakingDown16 was held at Ookini Arena Maishima in Osaka.
AWSM provided medical support for the event with a dedicated team of doctors and nurses.
As this was the first time the event was held in Osaka, we assembled a new team including local staff. Thanks to thorough pre-event briefings and flexible communication on the day, we were able to respond smoothly to all on-site needs.
In the intense one-minute bouts characteristic of BreakingDown, we saw various injuries such as bruises, cut wound, and dislocations. However, with strong teamwork and prompt coordination, we were able to deliver swift and appropriate care. It was a proud moment to see our team operate with unity to ensure a safe event.

Equipped with clear voice prompts that are easy to hear even in noisy venues, bilingual (English–Japanese) support, and quick-apply electrode pads, this AED was an essential part of our on-site readiness.
🔹 “OS-1” oral rehydration solution provided by Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory
Having OS-1 readily available helped us take preventive measures against dehydration and heat-related illnesses, keeping both athletes and staff safe throughout the event.
