2025年4月27日（土）北信濃トレイルフリークス（以下、KTF）主催にて、軽井沢トレイルランニングレースが開催されました！
天候にも恵まれ、当日は選手含め1000人近くの参加者が軽井沢プリンスホテルスキー場内を駆け巡りました。
またAWSMに携わる医師がメディカルランナー（マーシャル）として参戦！ 実際に選手や参加者と共にコースを走ることで、タイムリーに傷病者の対応をすることができます。軽井沢トレイルランニングレースのコースは一部ややハードな道もあるため、選手や参加者のみなさまが安心して走り切れるよう、マラソンのメディカルランナーのようにトレイルでのメディカルランナーを実施いたしました！
実際の傷病者対応では、マーシャルドクター、各エイドのナース、KTFスタッフや本部と連携して迅速かつ正確に対応することができました。
また、Stryker Japan様よりご提供いただきましたAEDを配置し緊急事態に備えています。
選手、スタッフ、観客と会場の皆さまが安全に安心して大会に参加ができるよう環境を整えていきます！

Karuizawa Trail Running Race 2025 Held with Medical Support from AWSM
On Saturday April 27 2025 the Karuizawa Trail Running Race was held by Hokushinano Trail Freaks (KTF).
The weather was perfect and nearly 1,000 participants joined the event. Runners made their way through the course at the Karuizawa Prince Hotel Ski Resort. A physician from AWSM participated as a medical runner (marshal) and ran with the participants to provide timely medical support when needed.
As the race course includes some technically challenging terrain, the presence of a medical runner—similar to those in urban marathons—helped ensure the safety and peace of mind of all runners and attendees throughout the event.
During the race, AWSM’s medical marshal worked closely with on-site nurses at aid stations, KTF staff, and the event headquarters to respond to incidents swiftly and accurately.
In preparation for emergencies, an AED provided by Stryker Japan was also deployed at the venue.
AWSM will continue to support a safe and secure environment for all participants, staff, and spectators at sports events.
